witch 1 is best.
I know they all will clock high but they all sort of fit in the same price range so what do people think is the best.

I have been trying to decide for ages and did actual order a q6600 but then sold it before even opening the box coz i read a review about the E8500 and it sounded as good if not better then i saw the E8400 for less cash and my head nearly exploded lol

I would realy like to here your thoughts on this subject and help me decide.. afro

Personally I would go with the e8400, but most would go with the Q6600. The e8400 is an astounding overclocker and can reach speeds up-to and past 4.8GHz. But with the Q6600 you'll see a bigger increase in performance.

The e8500 is a waste of money, no different than the e8400.

well i have the Q6600 and its performance is not even a question but with todays demanding programs and gaming capabilities, the e8400 or e8500 will do just fine. the Q6600 is just future proof.
