Alienware Sentia M3200
My quick review:
Overall I think that this laptop is for the coffee shop user, even though it's decently powerful it's small screen size makes it hard to use for anything but web-surfing and flash games. The 12.1" 1280x800 16:9 screen is a nice feature for those who like to watch movies on the go, plus it has a strange P-button that automatically boots it into a small linux shell stored on a 500MB partition. This linux shell is designed specifically around movies, but without the battery wasting hassle of booting into Windows to watch a movie. The P-button also puts the computer into power-save mode when pressed in Windows. It drops the core clock to either 470MHz or 600MHz depending on the task you are performing at the time. It has a 4.0 Altec Lansing speaker system with two speakers on the front of the laptop and two on the screen brezel, sounds just like surround sound when watching movies.
When playing flash games or anything intensive while plugged in the computer WILL overclock itself.
Here is mine while at stock:
Intel Pentium M 960 2GHz @ 2GHz
Intel Extreme Graphics for Mobile 2 850GMA @ 200MHz
2GB DDR2-533 RAM @ 533
While self overclocking:
Intel Pentium M 960 2GHz @ 2.2GHz
Intel Extreme Graphics for Mobile 2 850GMA @ 300MHz
2GB DDR2-533 RAM @ 600
This provides a substantial performance boost for all types of applications.
